Fall Detection. HelpAlert devices are equipped with advanced fall detection technology designed to differentiate between significant falls and routine movements. However, fall detection is not guaranteed to detect all falls. The effectiveness of the feature depends on several factors, including how and where the device is worn at the time of the incident. Users must always press the emergency button if they are able to do so. Fall detection should be viewed as an additional safety feature, not a substitute for manually activating an alarm when assistance is required. HelpAlert Limited accepts no liability for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from the non-activation or failure of fall detection technology.
Network Coverage. HelpAlert devices that use a SIM card rely on an active mobile network connection to transmit alarm signals and enable two-way communication. In areas where no mobile signal is available, the device will be unable to place an alarm call, establish contact with our control room, or transmit location data - without network coverage, the device cannot connect. HelpAlert Limited is not responsible for any service disruptions caused by mobile network availability or coverage limitations.
